Please introduce yourself, including your grade level and what you teach. Discuss your current use of technology in your classroom. What are you doing with technology and what are your students doing with technology?

My name is Sarah Hohn. I am in my 6th year of teaching special education. I currently teach middle school students with learning disabilities at West Middle School. I only teach math to grades 6-8 and my main use of technology is with the promethean board. I honestly would be lost without. I am slowly learning the capabilities of the board, but there really is awesome stuff that can be done. Whenever possible, I try and keep my students active participants with the board, but being it is math, that time is limited. Other than some basic manipulatives and calculators, students are not using any other techonolgy in my classes.
