Hi Tara,

If you go to a Community (such as VT101 or the Lounge), or a specific group, you will see the third tab across the top says Discussions.  Click on the Discussions tab, and then you will have a list of all the Discussion titles in that area of the Community.

The image above shows the tab for Discussions in Verizon Thinkfinity 101.  You will notice that there are currently 615 different discussions available for reading and posting a response. 

I think this is what you are searching for when you mention collapsing a discussion thread.  Let us know if you have additional questions.
