Thank you for your interest in the AASL Thinkfinity Zmuda Challenge, introduced at the AASL President's Program held during the ALA 2010 Annual Conference!

We are offering two $5,000 incentive awards for the two most innovative ideas on how school librarians can help students acquire 21st-Century Skills. We have asked school librarians to post their ideas as a reply to the Thinkfinity Community AASL Thinkfinity Zmuda Challenge discussion by July 15, 2010. After that time, AASL will select the winning idea and notify two winning entrants. The winners must each complete a grant application before receiving the $5,000 award.

Note that winners are not asked to implement their idea with the $5,000; instead, the incentive can be used to acquire resources for their school or school library.

Guidelines

1. All entrants must be school librarians who are members of the Thinkfinity Community.

2. Entries should be no longer than 500 words.

3. All ideas must be received by July 15, 2010.

4. Two winners will be chosen and must complete a grant application for the $5,000 award.
